Story:

Can modern marriage withstand the power of a mommy makeover? This existential comedy cuts below the surface to reveal the writhing paradox of love in the face of too much choice but not enough power. Plastic surgery, wayward passions, sisterhood, and a primal calling intersect in a harrowing journey that follows a mother determined to regain her womanwood even at the sacrifice of her dignity.

Young and old, audience members will find something of themselves in this piece that crosses boundaries of flesh and spirit.

Low Hanging Fruit
a dark comedy about sex
At the San Francisco FRINGE FESTIVAL

Written and Choreographed by Jade Raybin
Directed by Phil Lowery
Featuring Jose Saenz, Jeff Noll, Kayra Nicole Arias, Kim Holt, Cindy Iijima, Tom Lazur, Charles Lewis III, Pearl Marill, Carla Pauli, Juliana Reese, Elizabeth Castaneda, and Melissa Castaneda.

"Low Hanging Fruit is advertised as a female view of male sexuality, but don't expect mere emasculation from this sophisticated company. The Drama Mamas, who had a hit with "Stretch Marks: Growing Into Motherhood" in 2005, return with a bawdy story of a tech-support worker sucked into the vortex of online sex."
-- San Francisco Chronicle - April 1st, 2007

Story:
Follow a young man as he traverses the shifting line of sexual morality in a tale of two desires--for acceptance and the profane.

In a new play by Jade Raybin, Greg, a tech support professional with a penchant for inappropriate reverie, journeys from shame to expression and then some. Low Hanging Fruit ponders the intersection of sex and meaning, and why some things are better left off BART. Dance-theater, original music and fembots combine to blow your pants off.
